Colors and Finishes

One of the most exciting milestones in any project is the moment when the vision becomes tangible—when colors, textures, and materials come together to create the personality of a home. Over the past few weeks, we’ve worked closely with our interior designer to select the finishes that will define the look and feel of Freeman Street Homes. The result is a warm, modern palette that blends timeless design with durable, high-quality materials.

Flooring

Throughout the main living spaces, we’ve chosen a light oak-inspired flooring with a natural grain. It’s bright enough to keep interiors feeling open and airy, yet warm enough to create a sense of comfort and familiarity. This wood tone will serve as the perfect backdrop for the rest of the finishes.

Kitchen Cabinets

Our kitchens will feature sleek slab-style doors in vertical-grain walnut—a choice that adds richness and depth to the space. The walnut color will also be repeated for the main entry doors, floating stairs, and soffits. The natural variation in the wood creates a subtle movement that pairs beautifully with our lighter flooring. For contrast and definition, we’ve incorporated a bold “Black Fox” finish, caping the cabinetry, adding modern sophistication that follows the motif introduced by the windows.

Tile Selections

Tile choices were all about balance—pairing soft neutrals with strong accents. Bathrooms will feature a combination of charcoal stone-look tiles, creating a spa-like atmosphere. Shades like Sienna and warm greys will be used strategically for feature walls and kitchen backsplash, adding drama and texture. Interior fireplaces feature a larger-format light grey tile ties everything together with a clean, contemporary feel.

Paint Palette

For the walls, we’ve selected a crisp, soft white that complements both the wood and tile tones. It reflects natural light beautifully and serves as the perfect neutral canvas for homeowners to personalize their spaces.

With the finish selections now finalized, we can’t wait to see these materials installed. Over the next few months, as flooring, cabinetry, and tile work begins, Freeman Street Homes will start to feel less like a construction site and more like the community we’ve envisioned from day one.
